Jazz at sunset

Jazz at Sunset featuring Up and Coming Star Charlie Mitchell, The Fabulous Slips & the F’W’s, Swing On In Dancers Chrissy & Ray, and the outstanding Art of Helena Horsley, was a huge success and so much fun!  

Booked out quickly, with a great supportive crowd who came from Main Beach, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Toowoomba, The Sunshine Coast, N.Z, and USA  (please excuse us if we’ve missed someone) it was great to see everyone having such a great time – the music was sensational.

Held at The Seaway Kiosk, with it’s fabulous new deck,  it was extremely interesting  hearing from The Hon. Judy Spence who gave an insight into her life and the wonderful plans the Waterways Authority has for the Spit and our Waterways.  As was,  Neil Fisher owner of the Kiosk, was so informative outlining  his long association with the Main Beach Community.  Fabulous Raffle Prizes generously donated by our businesses were excitedly won.  What a night. 

It will  be an amazing event/festival next year at the Spit.  Catering for everyone – watch this space!
